four queens=4 of a kind

thats the best hand, the only other hand that will beat it is a straight flush

the other hand you have is called a flush (all same suit) 4 of a kind beats flush

4 queens & the other card is better. It's a 4 of a kind, which can only be beaten by a straight flush (ex. 4,5,6,7,8 of one suit).

four of a kind will always beat a flush-for example: say you have four 2's and your opponent has 6,8,10,j,a of diamonds--you will win, BUT, if his flush is a straight then he wins. when you both have a flush the highest flush win and a straight flush is higher than just a flush.
