I was given a gas clothes dryer and have no gas outlet. Is there anyway to convert this to an electric dryer?

There may be a way to convert a (natural) gas dryer into a propane gas dryer, though, if you don't mind having a BBQ gas tank standing around (and having to refill it from time to time).
But that conversion - if possible - is still going to cost you, and must be done by a true expert, preferably a service engineer from the dryer manufacturer.

The cost would end up being more than just buying a used electric dryer. Try looking on craigslist.com. Click on your city/state and search for a cheap used electric dryer. I have seen several dryers under the FREE STUFF section. Hope this helps... Good luck.

no, but keep the dryer, have a tank installed and run the tubing and use the dryer..cheaper than electric to use..
