I am a better person now...I took my divorce pretty hard, it was a slap in the face that woke me up... and now it has allowed me to re-evaluate the rest of my life and its direction...its been refreshing to focus some time and effort toward making oneself a better person...It just being me, financially I do well for myself.

I know that this question is supposed to be for a ex-married couple but I'd like to put this at a different point of view. My parent's divorced like 3 years ago. We used to have a nice house, nice cars, and nice things. Now me and my mom live in an apartment and my dad has a new wife and new daughter. It's depressing sometimes but you just have to keep your head up and thank God every day for the things that you have already have. I feel that in a way I am a stronger person because I've learned alot from it.

I realized women have no heart. They are ruthless carnivores in the court system. I am better off now because I dont get my heart broken like I used to. But financially I had years of hardship. She got everything and I got the bills. Cant understand that part. We divorced because she cheated and still the judge gave her everything.

one million. It taught me reign in my impulsive reactions and be slightly more suitable tolerant. I discovered even as my husband's chuffed it makes me happier than if I were given my own way (lots of the time). 2. i'm particular it has, yet don't recognize how a lot. I snigger more suitable and likewise waste more suitable time than I used to! 3. He looks to have lost some self-coverage, which does decision from conceited despotism. As he jogs my memory of my brother, I problem about him and wish he's conscious he has a large style of friends rooting for him.

It has given me a new perspective on life. I appreciate my new partner even more. Never take advantage of what you have. You will be bitter for a long time about marriage but then you find somebody that you were meant to be with and all of those doubts will change completely

I am better off in every way possible! My ex was a total loser, lied, cheated, used money on women and drugs then lied about it, never got bills paid on time--if at all, abused and used me, etc. Ever since I left and moved on, I have been sooooooooooooooooo much happier and have had much more money as I know how to get things paid--on time--save money, etc.

Worse financially but better in every other way. I am no longer under the thumb of my ex wife, sleeping on the cough or having sex used as a weapon.
