Yes, crimes in all it's forms exist in either cities or small towns. In small towns, however, police have a better handling on the crime issue than in mega-metro areas.
I opt for my nice, homely small town.

I prefer to live in a small town- maybe because I've lived in one all my life. I have a lake right behind my house- which is good, especially in the summer. Also I've noticed that whenever I do go out of state to a bigger city, the people aren't as nice (I'm not saying that includes all the people...just most of them that I've come into contact with). When I want to do alot of shopping we have to travel about two hours out of the way- but that just makes the trips more fun and out of the ordinary. :)

People from small towns seem to have smaller brains, or don´t know much about real life out there. People form the cities have better knowledge and reasoning, use better logic. When someone form a small town goes to the city, they open their minds.

I'd love to see the whole world... but I'd always return to my hometown. I wouldn't say it's a small town, really-- 12,381 people in 2005-- but it's pretty small and in the middle of a lot of bigger places at the same time. I love it here: it's a nice place to raise a family one day, fairly quiet in most areas, and with that kind of small town charm without being stiflingly small. Just right.

ofcourse city, wel as been brought up in city i cant live in small town, city life is 2 fast n i luv d way it is, thr is money, fame n evrything 1 wants, there is nightlife, whereas in small town people use 2 sleep around 10.
so 4m my side CITY definitely

small town, not as much noise, and i live in a very very small town.
and there aint much violence since my town is 99% white. everybody gets along...cept gangs.

City. I have lived i one my whole life. Shopping. Downtown. Sound of the cars. It's just awesome.
