It's not the Iranians fault that we have this goverment. America brought the goverment. I don't hate America or anything, but now whenever me and my friend go to school we get called "evil" by those American kids. Not all Middle Eastern people are bad, just the same way that not all Americans are good. The only reason my teacher actually cares to know my name is because I have 4.0 in Algebra, and Calculus. And not all Iranians wear scarves and belive in the ala. I'm sure most of you never even been to Iran. How would you know what it is like? Stop saying America is the best, it's not. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Its not the iranian people we dislike, anymore than it was the iraqi people we disliked. Its the governments, the sad truth is that in the world of politics the majority is represented to the world by a select few.

We went to to liberate the iraqi people, not kill them all, we were fighting to preserve the lives of every day iraqis.

The reason we dont like iran, on a political level, is because they have threatened us and our allies, and have refused to play nice with UN inspectors over their nuclear program.

The iranian people arent the ones who get to decide to go to war, its the government, and those crazies get to decide to use their nukes, and any other weapons, not the average iranian citizen.

Also, the iranian government supports Hezbollah and other known terroists groups, and thats not just in spirit, they fund them, send them troops for support, and donate munitions to them. Thats a very serious offense on the global level, and not a way to make nice nice with anyone.

But, another true undeniable truth is that people are not only biased, but they judge an entire group based on a few individuals. Its an unpleasant thing you have to live with, being from the middle east and living in america during such a horrible time.

Iam german and my family only spoke german during the second world war.... talk about being hated. My grandparents hid on their farm and raised crops for the US army and didnt talk to anyone until after the war.

Cheer up, soon enough everyone will be hating koreans.

You're correct that Iranians, certainly the few I've met, are often far from the stereotypes of Arab Muslims. However, there is no disputing that the Iranian government has been doing some pretty awful things and supporting some pretty awful people (suicide bombers, for example) for the past 30 years, and the Iranian people haven't done a darned thing about it. The mullahs tell you who your leaders are going to be, and your people roll over like a beaten dog and accept their hyper-religious tyranny. I'd grant you that our government has been nothing worthy of pride in recent years, but we've had many more positive moments in the past quarter-century than Iran has produced for itself. While many of your points are valid, it is utter nonsense to claim that the Iranian government and its actions are not the fault of the Iranian people. When your leader calls for another nation to be wiped from the map (something not even our lamentable President would do), when the government defies the United Nations, and when it instigates Hezbollah attacks on Israel, there are never any protest marches in Tehran demanding the government change course. There is not a murmer of dissent among most Iranians while the government behaves like a clan of bandits. You can not reasonably excuse your people from blame when they tolerate decade after decade of barbaric madness being done in their name.

I am an American and I certainly do not hate Iran. By the way, I have a crush on this guy from Iran. :p
P.S- I think America is the best and it is Bush's and the governments fault that we look like evil people in front of all other countries. We aren't as bad as you think we are.

People, in general, are simple minded and adopt the opinions of the media. It is widely known that the Iranian government is basically Islamic Radicals who beleive that islam is the only way, and all non-muslims should be destroyed. Americans are raised on the beleifs of the first amendment, to include freedome of religion, and most iranians beleive that there religion should be the only religion. It is an opinion based on majorities. I am in iraq right now, and i hve made many iraqi friends, and even been invited to meals with them. I dont ask about their religion and they dont ask about mine. It is a way of showing respect towards one another. Your teachers should be ashamed of themselves. You are here to make a positive contribution to our american society, not cause us harm. they should treat you just the same as a white kid, mexican kid or black kid. america would not exist if we were unable to tolerate and respect each other.

I don't hate iranians, I hate their leader who deny's the holocaust and wants Israel gone. And i can't forget all of the hell we through to get our kidnapped people back in the 70's. If iran would vote in a decent leader I think it would be so great. School kids have always teased others, no matter what. They are just immature and dumb.

I don't hate Iranians. I despise Islamofascists just like I despise white supreme fascists in the America's south.

Anyone trying to shove their religion or ideals down my throat is looking for a fight.

im sorry you have to put up with this racism. some people do not understand that is unlikely that a whole race of people can be bad. americans dislike iran because it is producing weapons that they consider a threat. so you can say americans hate iran because they are afraid.

you must understand that people are ultimately responsible for their government's actions. if the government is bad, then it is the duty of the citizens to overthrow that government... you can't have your leaders calling for the destruction of Israel -- they deny the Holocaust ever happened while planning the next one... if you don't agree with your leaders, it's time you took action!
