Here's my dilemma: My family is having a big party and the dress code is formal/semi-formal. I bought a dress for the party. When I took the dress over to show my sister what I was wearing, she says that one of our relatives has the same dress only hers is knee length and mine is long.
Some people in my family have "diva" attitudes when it comes to things like this...lol. I don't know if this relative is like that or not.
Should I take my dress back? I can't make up my mind on what to do. Give me your opinion. Thanks for your help.

Well, that is something I have gone through myself. I was at my friends graduation party and I was wearing the same dress as her cousin. It was really awkward and people looked at us funny. Its just a girl thing, you obviously understand.
Anyway, I would say if you were totally in love with the dress then to wear it. But then again, if where you bought the dress there were other cute dresses I would go back, return it, and buy yourselft a new dress. It's your choice, but I know whatever you decide you will look awesome! Just go and have a great time, dont worry about those types of little things!! but if it really is bothering you return the dress and get another fabulous attire!

I know that most of the women i know hate wearing the same dress especially if they know that someone else is going to wear it or has bought it. I think at the end of the day it is honestly up to you. I think that since you are still debating about this dress, I am almost certain that you like it enough to debate about if you should return it or just wear it. If this is the case then I think you should just keep it and wear it regardless if someone else has it.

If you like the dress and think that it looks good on you, then wear it! Don't worry about someone's "diva" attitude...that's her problem.
That's like two girls wearing the same dress to their high school prom. Either you get mad about it or you can laugh and take a few pictures and compliment each other on your excellent taste in fashion. :-)

If you like the dress, then wear it. it's not like you planned it or anything. You shouldn't give up your dress just because someone else has the same one.

i would take it back, i wouldnt want to wear the same dress as anyone else, you want to be different so try to find another one.

and if shes got an attitude then ignore her and say that she rude a million time sin your head or write it down i u want 2
