Many people ask this question... Why am I here? What is my job while I'm living? Some people turn to religion as myself for the answer... For some religions that only believe in one god, they believe that they have a mission to do, like teach people for example. Other religions with many gods and reincarnation believe that you are constantly reincarnated or until you reach a state and you can go to a Paradise-like place. Or like non-religious people, you only live once... So have fun with it.
But I am more pessimistic and don't really believe I don't can do anything on earth that will mean something. So in a way i can't really answer your question.
