when they first came to the US, no one would let them work anywhere else. sense then they have become managers, and taken over many 'mini marts' such as AM/PM and 7-11

most of them arrived on the business mans short cut. If you are bringing in money and are investing in a business that creates employment then you get in. Once the business man is in and the business is running they can sponsor another immigrant, because they are now established business and can promise support and employment, they can act as a guarantor of the new immigrant. The quick marts and trucking companies are low cost businesses that offer the ability to enter low skill and disadvantaged(language barrier) relatives into the country. If you look around you will see many other examples of this practice and they are all similar in the cost and business structure, restaurants are another classic, with the advantage that the cooks can be classified as artisans and get work visas even easier

the middle east is all desert and quikiemarts have slurppie machines that are cool and plus they use parts off the machines to make bombs to blow up buildings
