Nope not just you...I feel your pain. It's probably just cause we have so many responsiblities, and everything is based on what is going to happen tomarrow instead of today. I've found that just taking a lil time each day to do something I want to do helps. Keep your chin up, only a couple more decades to retirement.

being an adult shouldnt be awful. im not quite sure what complex situation you might be going through but you can make it! if you are getting divorced it is for a good reason! so what if youre no longer happy with youre dissapointment of a dream guy. if you have a hard time paying bills then call a debt soloution or make sure you doing a job that gives you enough money. you could even go back to collage! if you are having trouble raising kids then feed them healthy food allow them only one snack a day and make sure they get excercise. kids can be tough but if they have friends some toys and are occasionally allowed sleepovers junk food and a new toy then they will be occupied. also make sure you give them hugs kisses and lotsd of attention maybe even a story before bed! i may not have helped you with anything but i hope i made your life as an adult a little less painful

It's awful so we can feel like idiots for wanting to grow up and then tell people younger than us, "Trust me, you don't want to be an adult right away." But no, it's not just you. I completely miss the guilt-free life I had when I was younger.

Honestly, I love being an adult. I have freedom to do what I want to do. In fact I get paid to do what I want to do. I also get to participate and make differences in the world. I look forward to finding a mate and starting a family. Finally I can't wait for the day I get to be with God.

It's the times of succeeding, loosening away from our youth to experience the mistakes. The moments of decisions and responsibilities that highlight our independence
Either you swim or float; run or walk; fight or take flight. No escaping, no whining. Being an elder will always have it's ups and downs. Light will shine when someone looks up to you

Nope. You pretty much have it figured out. However, because becoming an adult is inevitable, try to fit in a few non-sucky bits in between the less-than-wonderful things you describe. If you do that, you will be fine.

when you were a kid, you had no worry of money, work or any stupid adult problems. I miss my teenager years badly, the cold nights of hanging around the park bench and having a laugh.. Its not the same no more.

No, it's not just you. With responsibilities comes acountability. You need to write out your plan for the day and build in time for yourself and then follow the plan. Do it every day and you will find the time to enjoy life.

i know it's hard but there are things that adults can do but kids can't. like drive a car, wear makeup, go out at night alone and stay out all night, drink alcohol, have sex (responsibly) and eat pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner if they wanted to.
