The American Osteopathic College of Dermatology says no more than 1 tablespoon per full bathtub for treating skin infections. But if you don't have skin infections, why bother?

The tap water you get is already chlorinated and bleached why would you want to add more bleach to that?

If the objective is to kill the germs, they are already dead. if the objective is to bleach your skin/hair its a bad idea because the hair/skin bleach chemicals are not different and not as harsh as the bleaching powder/ chlorine combination.

Remember the swimming pool where they put lots of bleaching powder and the after a while you start to itch? I mean its bad.

I wouldn't go so far as to bathe in bleach water - BUT, here's a little known tip:
warm tap water with a little bleach in it works WONDERS for helping clear up poison ivy.
But again, I wouldn't bathe in it - certain chemicals can cause chaos in "certain places"!!

Why would you do that? If you want cleaner water then buy a water purifier....but don't add bleach to your water...If your trying to pull a Michael Jackson and trying to make your skin lighter then Don't do that! Be happy with who you are...Bleach is really bad for your skin.

No, I wouldn't recommend it...bleach used on clothing isn't mean to be used on the skin...at the very least it'll dry out your skin terribly, but could cause other more serious issues...

What is it you are trying to accomplish?

I wouldn't. Bleach kills. It's potent. One capful in a gallon of water can still kill aids. Don't do it. You risk skin burning. blindness. and really is your butt that dirty? keep bleach away from skin.
