I wish I had had the opportunity to attend the Monterey Pop Festival in June 1967 (I was in the US Army then and couldn't get away.) Some of the stars there included The Association, Lou Rawls, Johnny Rivers , The Animals, Simon and Garfunkel, Big Brother and the Holding Company with Janis Joplin, Otis Redding, Jefferson Airplane, the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Jimi Hendrix Experience, etc. Some of the greatest in rock history.

Its sort of humorous and that i would not evaluate it rock fairly, however the loudest stay overall performance I truthfully have ever attended grew to become into Ted Leo and The Pharmacists. I truthfully have on no account heard a guitar tone as loud as his.

Jimmy Page/Robert Plant. Man, they had the Palace of Auburn Hills rockin'. The whole place was on its feet and swaying back and forth to Jimmy going nuts on the guitar. Perfect!
