I have a friend who weights this much and is 4 months pregnant and is going to a high risk pregnancy clinic and the doctors there seem to ignore that fact that just because her body is coping with pregnancy that she can take care of a newborn I mean she can't even walk to the mail box with out having an asthma attack.

also they already told her she will have to have a c section and the last time she almost go gang-green from the incision site and died.

Wow that's pretty huge and dangerous, doctors are mainly in charge of her well being while at the hospital, i'd advice that you let child protective services suggest somthing... and no it isn't their choice to end a pregnancy it is the choice of the paitient. Their only concern should be her for now not ending the pregnancy, Im sure they're going to advice a Csection and they will have to use bigger surgical tools since shes morbidly obese,

Anyone should be allowed to have a baby as long as they are healthy. Its your right. There are specialty and risk doctors all over that can help her along the way, weight should have nothing to do with it..... worry about her health. She needs to change drs ASAP.
Maybe this will be her wake up call....

Well, that just does not sound healthy, no way would I recommend a woman like that having children. But there is nothing you can do stop here unless she really neglects the child in which case CPS gets involved.

Your friend probably doesn't feel loved and will have this baby to find that love. Perhaps having a child will be the trigger for her to get herself into a better state of physical health. I hope the father is being involved.

I don't think its your place to decide or anyone elses if she should have a baby or not. Your not really a friend if you should be asking this question. I would thing that you would be supporting her decision. Besides give her a chance this may change her way of life.

while they got a big hole open, get some liposuction. Like 400 lbs of it.
