Is WW3 coming soon? If so, why?

Who knows if and when there will be a third World War; however, I do think if humans continue to carry on the way they are (overpopulation, overconsumption) in conjunction with the continuing degradation of the environment, then another world war is more than likely. Many of the disputes in Africa, such as in Darfur, Sudan, is over natural resources. With severe droughts in some areas, people are forced to migrate to an area where there is access to water. This often leads to conflict with people who already live in the area or are trying to move into the same area for the same reason. As natural resources (i.e., freshwater) continue to decline, more conflicts are likely to arise between countries. For instances, many rivers, such as the Nile River or Niger River, travel through more than one country; consequently, different countries rely on the same river for their water source. However, as water flows down the river and the populace of a country use the river's water, the ones at the end of the river get less access to the river's water. In some countries, a dam is constructed to create a reservoir of water, which consequently restricts the water and reduces the amount to those at the end of the river, as did the Aswan High Dam. The restriction and reduction of water flow created by dams can lead to some conflicts between countries negatively afflicted and those who benefit from the dam. However, who knows when situations will become bad enough where another world war is created.

No. World War III isn't about to begin. But some silly, impressionable people are buying into fear and rumors. Don't worry about any World War. The biggest danger facing the West is unrestricted immigration.

becasue theres a war in iraq, we have terrorists in the afganistan area, iran has weapons, north korea has weapons, and now theres a huge thing going on between the isrealies and the palistines again... and people are saying that soon everyone will join in and one thing to another eveyone will be at war with everyone...
