I love playing basketball and decided to shoot some hoops in my school yard where its known for blacks hogging the courts. It was 9:00 am on a saturday and I was playing fine till 6 of them decided to show up and told me to leave because this was their court? I'm defenetly not planning to go back but i thought this was not a good thing from their part. What would you have done I feel violated.

You definately were treated unfairly. Rule of the court is the first one there. But you did the right thing by leaving due to the fact that their so many of them. Next time take your buddies with you and I assure you it want happen then.

There doesn't seem to be anything racist about, just thuggish, bullying, and rude. Sadly, all races seem capable of producing at least a few who are all of those things. The only racism I detected was in your off-hand remark about "blacks hogging the courts". It sounds like you need to learn to think about people in more ways than by skin color alone. That doesn't mean you should be made to leave public courts for no reason, though.

It wasn't about racism! It was about shootin Hoops. Think about it there was 6 of them, that means they were gonna play 3 on 3. Also, in case they were racist, you should be lucky they didn't jump you. So take your good fortune and your basketball and play somewhere else.

I can't be too sure, but I doubt it was racism. More likely they are just jerks who don't want to share the court with anyone else. (Jerks come in all colors, though I have yet to see a green one. =)

Yes, it was an act of racism. It's not right. But then again, you knew how the residents are, and you put yourself on the spot like that.

I think it was racism or it might have been a gang. I think it's good that you aren't gonna go again. If you go there again then I would go with a group.

yeah well i don't know ... i wouldn't consider it an act of racism . It was just their stupidity :) hahaha ... but in every case passive resistance is the best answer ... and don't hate them 'cause their black :)
