Try a test, but also plan to see your doctor, especially if you have other symptoms that are not normal for you. It just might be stress, or, if you are underweight or exercise too much, you can skip a period, too.

My period was very irregular and still is only I'm pregnant right now so I do have a period, but mine use to do that on different occassions like when I was REALLY stressed after my best friend died, or something like that but go to the doctor and take a test to be sure.

I'm assuming that you're younger and have not had your period for at least three years yet.

In younger women who have gotten their period recently (as in the last two to three years) having an irregular period is completely normal. However, having more than one period in a month is not cause for alarm when it happens once, but if it happens you want to talk to your doctor about it.

that doesn't mean anything, get a pregnancy test and find out for sure. One time I got my period 3 weeks late and I was not pregnant
