I think you when you find a colour that you like you feel very comfortable in it and you feel more confident. I find myself looking good in the colours of green, black, white, and sometimes pink.

NO! And that thinking is exactly why there are so many people on the streets lookin a mess. We all have color palets that consist of the hues in our skin tone, our hair color, how we blush, our eye color and even how our face is shaped. It's a good idea to understand what colors look best on you. Of course if you THINK a color looks good it might be because it ACTUALLY does. But I have peanut butter colored skin and red/brown hair and light brown eyes. So I know that black, mossy greens, deep reds and goldish browns look best on me. Get ta know ya colors!!

People all over have their colors done all the time. Professionals will tell you if you are a winter, summer, fall or springtime person. I am a Spring, I am fair and look good in bright colors. There are books on this but I actually paid someone to do my colors. It is great.

Yes. I used to HATE pink, but then I discovered that I look really nice in pink because I was wearing this shirt that a friend bought me and everyone complemented me on how nice I looked every time I wore that shirt. Then I started buying more pink and every time I wear pink, I get flooded with complements (people asking if I changed my hair, if I am wearing makeup, etc, but never about the clothing). So I figure I look good in pink.

I think their are lots of colors people look good in that flatter their skin tone or eyes but the color you think you look good in could be flattering or sometimes NOT.
I am fair and have dark hair so I look great in light pink and it's my favor color. I once knew a natural red head who's favor color was hot hot pink and she looked horrible in it because it made her skin even redder looking!

certain people whether bcuz of the body type, color of skin, shape of face will look better in certain colored clothes than others. for example, big people, either slightly overweight or muscular, will look better in darker colored clothes than they would in brightly colored clothes. a bright yellow striped shirt on a big person wouldn't look half as good as, let's say, a nice drak gray shirt.
