Or is it always gonna be bling, big booty chicks dancing, and-well that's it- over and over and over and over and over and over again. Not a BAD concept just apparantly the ONLY concept.

No they probably will not, but they need to. There is one rapper who does not follow the gimmick. But I know that I am tired of it. Booty, drugs, drinks, bikinis, hot tubs, cars, illiteracy, heavy chains, too much clothing, too little clothing

It is ALL a gimmick.

nice question J, tell u what i'm all over that too, I'm a writer that writes different genres (10+) years but is barely getting stuff out there.

Alot of the lyrics r going to be about "getting ahead" and "thinking smart", same will go with my rap song lyrics.

So to answer your question NO, they won't think of a new concept until i start taking away their customers because the customers start realizing that they want to hear good rap music plus good lyrics and concept. Then they'll change lol, anyway not talking about all the thugs....they'll take the booty theme anday and then whoop my ***. lol take care

No. There are very few rappers that give any thought to their videos. I like rap, but I think all rappers know that their main core audience is men. Therefore, their vidoes are geared towards pleasing their audience.

No they will continue to rent cars they don't and can't afford to own for the video, rent girls that wouldn't date them for the video, borrow money to flash around in the video. Most are really broke thugs that couldn't manage a dollar.

No. Never. Rap has degenerated into a stereotype-based abyss from which I hope it never recovers, unless it can recover its edge from the old Biggie-Tupac days
