The only thing that works on my headaches is Tylenol Sinus (even generic versions). Advil and Aleve help if I have a muscle pain or sprained my ankle, etc. - but on me, not for headaches.

It really depends on the severity and the type. Excedrin is WONDERFUL for migraines and tension headaches
Aleve is great for regular, smaller headaches.
Aspirin is good for injury or stress-related headaches (the ones that throb, but not to the degree of a major tension headache). It opens the capillaries in the brain for smoother blood flow, which in turn releases some of that pounding pressure.
I hope you can get some relief...I know how miserable headaches can be...

2 Alieve. My headache is gone in like 5 minutes. Advil and tylenol have never worked for me.

Aleve. The only drawback is that Aleve can only be taken every 12 hours. But, it takes my headaches away in minutes!

Aleve works longer than motrin, but how well it works for you depends on how your body takes it. I know some people who use motrin and think it's great, it makes me sick and does nothing else but tylenol and aleve work well for me. Being on birth control pills also helps get rid of bad cramps...

It all depends on what works for you. Alieve does absolutely nothing for me, but Advil is my savior!!!
