Yes. even though John J is technically right this would at least break the impasse and bring all people in the region peace. Even when you are wronged you sometimes need to compromise. The Arabs have to learn this.
By the way Virginia R. , you are very wrong. You know that Israel wasnt formed until 1948 under circumstances that saw confiscation of Palestinian lands and the eviction of millions from their homes. Before that Arab Jews (Yes. there is a such a thing although a minority in Palestine), Muslims and Christians lived side by side in peace. It was the influx of Eurpoean Jews,particularly after the holocaust, who had the supprt of the U.S. that created this problem. You and your friends can deny this all you want with your revisionist history (I know. It makes you feel better about the wrongs commited) but you know it's the truth. Also, please stop this bull about how all Muslims want to do is kill Christain and Jew. That is just plain stupid.

The problem with that question is, Israel would no longer exist because it was created after WW II from Palestine. Even if it gave back the land it has taken since, it still wouldn't have given back all of the Arab lands.

The lands that the Arabs want has belonged to Israel for thousands of years. They have already given them some lands that the Palestinians claimed were theirs, and look whats happening. They are digging tunnels through that very land, and have kidnapped one of Israel's solders, and butchered him., as well as suicide bombings.
As long as the Israelites, as well as the rest of us are considered infidels, they will not stop the killing. They consider it a 'holy war'. The Koran says it is right to kill infidels, so the killing will continue, and Israel will have to keep defending themselves. They have already committed acts of terrorism in other countries, including ours.
We already stopped an attack on the subway system in New York City. Are you starting to get the message here?
The extremist are killing their own people for not be Muslim enough. Weather you like it or not they will keep going after all of us, including Israel, especially Israel. It's a war that will never stop no matter how much of ISRAEL'S land they were to give them.

I completely agree with what John_J said up there.. Israel invaded Palestine and it doesn't make any sense to me why do the western countries try to make it seem like the Jews have the right to do so! If they want their security guaranteed then maybe they should do like the Iranian president said and establish their state in Alaska .. but I'm sure people in Alaska would reject it and would form their own version of Hezbollah there..
