You have to be 16 usually to work. I didn't get a job until I was 19. Sometimes people can find a job through friends and family. My brother got a job working at a general store when he was 13 because his friends dad let him work there if I remember correctly. Your parents might know somebody or your neighbors or people that your friends and friend's parents know. Not everybody has a network of people like I am trying to talk about though.

You are not of legal age to be hired by any company. Your best bet is- babysitting, mowing the lawn for neighbors.

When you go in for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges.

I think you are not going to have much luck until you are 15. Then any fast food place will hire you.

Your best bet would be to ask your mom, dad, or a close friend of the family if their place of employment has any summer opportunities for you to work there.
