you should try to call the apple support line at 1-800-275-2273 and see what they can do about it. otherwise, my friend accidentally dropped her ipod nano in her tub and didnt realize it rite away but it still works. you can try reseting it by switching the hold switch on and off then holding the menu and center buttons down at the same time for about 6 seconds. if it still works the apple logo should appear on the screen. the ipod may not work as well as before, like you may have to push the select button a couple times or maybe it wont respond as quickly as an ipod in good condition but it may still be useable. best of luck and hope that helps!

I seriously doubt it's worth it, but if you didn't try to turn it on after it went through the wash, there's a chance it didn't completely fry. I don't know whether it's covered under the warranty for this kind of damage, but you can try taking it back where you bought it or looking at the Apple store online to see where to send it for service. If it's under warranty, they'll probably just send you a new one, because taking it all apart and drying everything out would definitely cost more than to just replace it.

I really doubt it...
you could try contacting the maker of it or checking the warranty but i am almost positive
this type of accident is not covered...

I had a friend of mine do that and I highly doubt it. If you got an extented warranty you may be covered but odds are not in your faovr.
