Only thing hampsters really like to do is eat/sleep/ and run on their wheel. So im sure he/or she is happy with a wheel to exercise on. I got mine a wheel for his cage, and also one of those round hamspter balls you get to let your hampster run around the house in.......getting it another hampster will not make it happy trust me! They multiply way too fast plus hampsters fight alot.

well, spouse could make your hamster happy. Unless, if your hamster had lived alone in a long time, it won't work. Like everybody said, a bigger cage and a wheel could make your hamster happy.

your hamster could also appreciate bedding. You can make it on your own using toilet paper. Never use cotton wool. your hamster might eat it and die. Toilte paper wont make your hamster die. If you are not convinced, better not.

I had hamsters years ago. We use to have connecting tubes for them to run in. I had two cages set up and they were able to run from one cage to the other through the tubes. It was kinda neat.

He may be somewhat lower than pressure by using cats as he probaly is conscious from instinct that they are predators and as hampsters are genrally nocternal it truly is somewhat strange. I propose leaving him be for somewhat and protecting the cats away as if he contines to do such issues search for suggestion from someone. both that or he's purely satisfied or loved it free time soooo a lot he's prepared to get out back.

Explain to it that misery is transitory and that on the great wheel of fortune bad times will come, but also they must pass. Start him reading Boethius' 'Consolation of Philosophy', or maybe introduce him to the teachings of Buddha. If he can learn to live without desire maybe he will achieve happiness.

Other than that, buy him a plastic wheel.
