yes, but even with an ethernet connection or cable connection it takes forever (depending on what connection speed you are downloading from). i have a cable connection and it takes about 1 1/2 hours to download a decent speed for movies. if you are serious about wanting a decent movie format (better than avi) and plan on burning to a dvd, then you should sign up with as a paying member to a decent service (sorry, for the most part i download music so not sure what sites are good)

yes...sometimes....but it's better to get movies on Bit Torrent.
