you all know about award shows and ceremonies that celebs and thier friends dress up in high designer clothing?
well how do they get invited to such things, how do they choose which celebs and who they get to bring with them? how do they set up for such events?
just wondering, 'cause I would like to go to!!

also, how can I find out about all the big talent awards out there
( such has the Emmy's ,golden globes, toni's, grammy's, etc.
there just has to be a site on what they all are and what they mean for an artist!).

Golden Globes - arwards given to actors and actresses in both TV and movies. TV shows and movies also receive awards. They are usually presented a month or two before the Oscars.
Emmy's are awards given for excellence in TV--both shows and actors
Toni's - awards given for actors in Broadway plays
Grammy's - awards given to those in the recording industry
Oscars - awards given to actors in movies
As for getting a seat at any of these, good luck. Perhaps you can become a journalist or reporter. They always reserve a certain number of seats for the press.

The way that you can go to one of the award shows as a fan is buy tickets, but to get inside is another matter, celebs are usually nominated to win something and then they are given an assortment of tickets for their family, friends, and others. Who they bring as their guest for the red carpet is a highly personal one. You could go as a seat filler to the award shows, this takes some connections. Some magazines like TV.Guide are giving away tickets to the Emmy's and such, so, you can try them to see what they are giving away in order to go.

Each award ceremony has it's own website.
How do they get invited?
Usually it's the people involved in the movie - for a premiere, or nominated for an award - that's automatic invite.
The rest - it's up to their publicists and managers to secure an invite.
The organizers make their list and have tickets set aside for the people who are not invited, but want to attend.
It is prety much a popularity contest - who's hot right now.

You have to line up for days to get tickets - and for some of them you have to know someone who knows someone. The best bet is to watch for local radio or television stations which have contests for tickets and try to win those. Good luck.

You have to be super-rich to even afford tickets. And you need connections.
