Botox I think is completely nuts. Plastic surgery I can see a benefit and in fact I am getting some done next week to reduce the size of my willie for my girlfriend.

I love plastic surgery! I have had a tummy tuck, breast lift and implants and liposuction. Now let me tell you why I had all that done. First the tummy tuck: I have 4 kids and my transverse abdominal muscle had separated 3-4 inches and with a tummy tuck, the surgeon did a spiral stitch down the middle and cinched it up. Not only did my waist go down 4 inches from that procedure but with the fat removal and extra skin removal, I went from a size 10-12 to a 6-8. Now, I can get up off the floor without having to roll over onto my knees and pushing up that way and I can do a full sit-up! Then same thing with the breast, I breastfed all 4 of my kids and needed a lift done. My surgeon told me that if he did just the lift without implants, I would go from a full B to barely an A. I had C implants put in and then the lift done. Liposuction was done because it would have be unbalanced to to the other stuff without removing some extra fat from my legs, butt and hips. That was done 3 years ago and I have never regretted doing any of it and given the chance, I would do it all again. I don't think that it makes me any less of a person. Actually, I have more self-confidence now than I have ever have.
Now, having said that, I have done somethings that weren't really what I considered necessary (if any of it is), but I have had my lips injected with fat to make them fuller and microderm abrasion done to my face to make it smoother. If you want to get it done--go for it and enjoy.

i think they are the best thing since sliced bread! i have had botox and lipo done. i am not overweight at all, an ex-model. i just wanted to be one step closer to perfection and to maintain what i already had and lost slightly, with age and 'wear and tear'. i wanted my waist to go back to 31" and to get rid of the stubborn adipose deposits that did not go away no matter how hard i dieted and exercised.
i am all for people who want to improve themselves, their minds, looks etc. esp in this day and age, where looks are so important to help you go just that bit farther in life. when i look good, i feel powerful and invincible.
of course, you need to know the limits and to have a good surgeon who will tell you 'yes, you can go this far' or 'no, you are going to end up like michael jackson'.
i will probably do a little more lipo when i turn 40. (i'm 36 and had it done when i turned 34, best money spent ever!)

Hey, I feel that anything that can make you look and feel better is a good thing. If I had the $$$ for it, I would do it.
