Not saying its a scam, but there are vacation "vouchers" that you only pay the taxes on the vacation,cruise,hotel, etc....
It is not uncommon for companies to hand these vouchers out and they are NOT scams. What they are is marketing materials to spark interest in them.
Who was it with? I am in the travel industry and might recognize the company

Well it's definitely some kind of marketing ploy. $77 is still pretty cheap for a 4 night cruise, just make sure that this "activation fee" is going to be the only thing you pay. If it's some sort of membership fee, they might want to charge you 77/ month or something.

I've never registered for anything like this, but it sounds like a total scam. Activation fee??? Sounds incredibly bogus. Steer clear of this one.
