A friend recently recommended I listen to a song by them Called Flight Of The Icarus, and knowing they are a heavy metal band, I dont know wether or not to listen to them. Basicly I'm cautious with what I listen to. I know they aren't as band as a Black Metal band would be but I wanna be sure I'm not listening to demonic music, or like anything like that.

Overall I love AFI, but I still have songs I dont listen to.

First, they aren't Satanic!
2nd, I gotta say that Iron Maiden is a "Power Metal" band.
3rd, Iron Maiden is a Jewish band.
And their songs consider about ANCIENT tales, especially Jew
tales, like the Icarus, Beelzebub & these kind of stuff.
I shall say that their music is brilliant, as their lyrics...
I'm not an Iron Maiden fan, but I like their music.
(Listen to these:The prophecy-Fear of the dark-Lord of the flies-
& you'll notice that they're using Jewish music scales as well
as amazing ancient tales!)

Not a big metal fan but one of my best friends is. I saw them in concert last summer and they really rock.
