Certified? Never heard of this term when describing and escrow officer. I have friends in the business. The started at the bottom as a processor and moved on up.

It also helps to have a business degree to start with (you tend to move up faster)

What in the world a certified escrow officer does? Escrow is the account a mortgage company sets up to put aside money from your mortgage payment so when the time comes twice a year they will pay your property taxes with those money. This is done automatically by the software the bank/mortgage company is using. So where in this process an actual full time job by a person is needed, and even more"certified" I have no idea.
The answer to your questions is- I don't know.
