It makes sense. :) I think a movie like The Town as a series could be really intense every week, also Shaun of the Dead as a half hour zombie comedy I think would be really awesome and successful. The Walking Dead is an hour long drama that's already proved to be really good. I think lately TV shows have been so great and the sheer production quality of things like Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad is just proving how many barriers they can break no matter how big the scale so any movie if it's interesting enough could work as a TV show. If there's demand they make it work. Nice q, Liam.

I believe Superman returns took that record with $240million. As for TV show, well, judging by how much the stars were being paid, I say it's a toss up between Seinfeld and Friends. What was it, $1million per episode each actor?

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE is supposedly the most expensive film at a reported $308 million. As for tv shows, it's up in the air.
For those claiming WAR OF THE WORLDS, that was a $132m budget.
