i work at a video store where there is a lot of theft from the customers. there is an alarm that sounds, but the the law says i cannot physically touch them. (i don't think the customers know this) what is the best way to stop them from walking out the store with stolen goods? what should i say/do?

Only put out the cover of the DVD on the shelf and have them bring it to you for exchange of the DVD movie. They have to pay to get it. They wont get far with an empty DVD case.

I would just sound the alarm and call the police. You never know who'll shoot you for a $5 porno rental.

Kill them because then they are dead and they can't steal from you
