I hate the small of the back tattoo. Its such a beautiful part of a woman's body. Its like putting a big billboard sign in front of a beautiful water fall. Don't do it.

Small strategically placed tattoos scream "CHICKEN!!" Tattoos are not like putting on makeup. And I truly believe that the "regrets" that people have are regarding those small, inexpensive, "generic" tattoos. Easy to get, easy to regret. I prefer to use the body as a canvass. A tattoo that is a well thought out PERSONALLY SIGNIFICANT artwork is unique. No little cutesy roses, butterflies, Chinese characters. If you are contemplating a tattoo at all, realize that it is a personal statement, not a temporary beauty mark. Go for the Gusto!

I have one and now I wish I didn't..... I feel like I'm too old for it now. Something that is cool at 21 isn't cool at 31 and so forth. Just make sure you'll going to like it for the rest of your life. And I think tattoo are best kept unseen. I hate those center of the back right above the jeans tattoo... they are cute on young girls but they look trashy the older you get.

What a coincedence! I'm getting my Daughter's and my wifes names as tattoo's next week too! I'm going to have my Daughters on the bottom of me feet and my wife's on my scalp!
I don't want them to stand out too much!

Just don't get a tramp stamp. Those look horrible when you get older. I wanted to get a parrot on my shoulder when i was 20, now i think of all the beautiful evening gowns I've worn and how ridiculous that would have looked.

I still think that you will see the day you regret getting it. They usually fade over time and don't look as good. They are not completely removable and you'll spend at least 3 times more than you paid to get it, and it will be painful to remove. Stick with piercings, at least they are easier to hide if you don't want them anymore.

I have 11 and they're all placed where no one can see them. Everyone is shocked because I look very conservative. I have a Japanese and African flower garden across my back. I love it - its like a painting for me.

They good at first & then look terrible when you get older. Even if they're small. If they won't be seen all the time & you don't care go for it.
