I need some suggestions of some new music to listen to in Spanish, because I've been listening to all the music I have for far too long now.

What I like: I LOVE Bebe (the singer from Spain, Pafuera telarañas, not Bebe Winans), Ska-P, some Molotov, some Cafe Tacuba, Ozomatli, and I LOVE Ojos de Brujo, Federico Aubele... I love music that is a mix of a bunch of different styles, it's so much more interesting.

What I DON'T like: I don't really like pop music in any language, so none of the following: La Oreja de Van Gogh, Juanes (even though some call him rock en español), Shakira (I like a couple of her songs, but she doesn't really do a lot for me), etc. I don't like reggaeton, but I do like some hip hop in Spanish.

Any suggestions??! Gracias!

Draco Cornelius Rosa (a.k.a Robi Draco Rosa). The man is a brilliant singer/songwriter/producer. His music is very eclectic, very poetic. Sometimes its kinda dark depending on the song and sometimes its like Rock En Espanol. Have loved this man forever!

Although I haven't a drop of Spanish, Hispanic..etc blood in me, try the music from Daniel Indart from the video game Tropico. Its at L&M Music. There are two CD's available. Its all Cuban street music and superb!
I think their website has samples.

i choose to propose Paulina Rubio. Her songs are solid for the two the music/rhythm besides via fact the lyrics, which i detect rather empowering for women. additionally try Laura Pausini, who's certainly Italian yet places out Spanish albums (i like "Volveré Junto a Ti").
