Does anyone know any good astrology websites worth checking out...can they really predict the future or is it just my hope to be able to understand and know my world?

Astrology attempts to define, and quite accurately, general inclinations based upon empirical observations and experience over a period of 6,000+ years.
It is one of the oldest sciences and it is also an art.
In fact, science, math, engineering and physics owes a lot to Astrology, as the Astrololgers developed things like Algorithms and Logarithms to effectively predict future positions of the stars and planets.
Math was developed partially because of the Astrologer's need for a tool.
Astrology is not fool proof, it only hints at inclinations. Somethings it gets some things wrong, because its an art form and the person doing the chart has to "guess" if something is apporpirate or not.
In several recent charts I've done I hit things right on the head and also blew it. One indicated there was a sarrow over the mother at a young age and the person said nothing serious or traumatic happened with her mother, who is still aorund and still on good terms with her.
So that stituation means I have to figure out why I grabbed on to that aspect as being important.
In another chart I hastly did for a psychic service interview for a job, she asked me about money and all the chart told me about was her sorrows with an older person. I brought this up several times and after our interview I askeda bout it and she then told me her husband was 30 years older than her and sickly.
She gave me the job, by the way, but I didn't like it. All I heard from were old women who wanted to blow all their money on lotto tickest so they could go visit their sister or some 18 year old unmarried girl who was pregantant and wanted to know if "he" was the right man.
I didn't want to go into their of those situations so I left the psychic organization.

No they can not predict the future. If you think about it, there are only 12 signs. There are over 6 BILLION people in the world.
And only 365 days to be born on, unless it's a leap year.
Realistically speaking, do you honestly believe that ONE horoscope could possibly be true for each person born on, say, April 1'st? I don't think so.
