The Say Hey Kid was the greatest! He could do it all run, throw, hit and hit for power. .302 lifetime average, 660 homeruns. Though his numbers don't stack up to Bonds, he done it naturally and he played most of his career in San Francisco. Yes Willie Mays was the greatest to play for the Giants.

Willie Mays. The best fielder, the best hitter, great arm. The whole package. And besides, he's the Say-Hey kid, how can he NOT be the best Giant ever?

If you ignore the steroid issue, then it's Barry Bonds.
If not, then you have settle for another great in Willie Mays.
I believe that both players have career stats that speak for themselves.

Mays. No question.
Had McCovey played his whole career for the Giants, he'd be close.
