My second child used to wake up in the middle of the night to eat and I would feed her her last feeding at the same as you, 6-7 and then bath and bed around 8. She would wake up between 2-3 am to feed and then get up for the day around 7 am. I finally got sick and tired of doing that, so I finally decided to keep the 6 feeding and then feed her again before I went to bed, around 11 and after a week or so, she got on that schedule. I think that there is enough time between the 6 and 11 feeding that she should be hungry and still not so much time between the 11 and 7 feeding that she can't make it. It might take a little time to wean her off the middle of the night food, but it can be done with a little patience.

Honestly, Is she normally a good eater? If so, then let her sleep. Babies will wake YOU up if they are hungry. You really shouldn't try to force her to eat unless she has medical problems. You probably started her on some type of solid foods? Yes? Then she will begin to start sleeping through the night. If you feel like you should be needed then get up and watch her sleep. :) Moms love watching the little breathes of sleeping babies. You should take this time and spend time withyourself. Take a bath, paint your nails, maybe even get dinner ready for tomorrow? I wouldn't worry too much about if she's hungry. She'll let you know :)

dont wake your baby to feed her! You only need to do this in the first 2 weeks of life! She is far too old for that! How would you feel about being awoken in the middle of the night with food shoved in your mouth? Yuck! That would be totally disruptive for her and VERY bad for her sleep cycles. She will wake when/if she is hungry, then feed her. Studies have shown that waking a baby to feed them DOES NOT prevent them from waking on their own to eat. Hate to burst your bubble.

no, dont wake her up or you will get her in the habit of waking up and it will be extremely hard to break that habit. let her wake up on her own to eat. if she is not sleeping through the night you could give her some infant cereal before she goes to bed, that will help keep her tummy full for the night.

Babies don't sleep well on a full stomach, that's what causes night waking. She should be able to go the night without waking up and needing a feeding. (unless she has trouble gaining weight, or your pediatrician says so)

Absolutely not! She will wake when she is hungry. My girls slept 13 hours through the night at 3 months. My boys, now 2 and 3, still won't sleep through the night. Count yourslef blessed if you do get to sleep!!

If your baby eats and then falls asleep and doesn't wake up during the night is because she if full. Your baby is already getting her own feeding schedule, Don't worry Believe me when i say when she is hungry she will let it be known. Other wise enjoy your night sleep

I would most definitely not wake her up take it from a mother of three leave her alone,if your tring to get her to sleep all night long try keeping her up for awhile before bed then at bed read a book and give her cereal and she'll sleep longer.I was told by my Dr. that cereal for babies was a great source of vitamins and a great way to keep babies tummy full. They get hungry just like we do.

NO!!! Have you ever heard that old saying "Never wake a sleeping baby."? It's true. Be thankful she's sleeping through the night at 6 months...you're lucky!

I have no idea, but you should. Does she wake up at night for a feeding? If she does, then maybe it would be better for *you* if you fed her at 10 pm (or whenever you go to bed) instead of letting *her* decide to wake up at 3 am instead.
