well, the part where you can't breathe thru it after a wild and violent bleed, and the black and blue around it and your eyes should be a lil helpful. but then again, my PHD isn't real.

One of my rugby teammates got her nose broken in a game and she said it felt like the inside of her nose was sunburnt. But it didn't look broken from the outside. Symptoms may vary.
You might have trouble breathing through your nose, black eyes, bleeding, or swelling, in addition to your nose possibly looking smashed or crooked. Think Marcia Brady after she got hit with the football. If in doubt, check it out--go to a doctor and see what's up.

If you have severe bone pain on touch, or a gross deformity. I suggest for the accurate way of determining it.. go in and get a x-ray.

swollen nose, that really hurts, and there will be bleeding mostly, or difficulty in breathing!
