i dont really get on well with her but she has alot of fairys and i dont get on with her daughter an she has been askin my partnerwhat we are getting her and i just dont no

Buy her some ordament you like ,say something like Nao and if she loves it you know every birthday christmas you can buy it till she cries no more.
oh I say some ordament you like coz its ends up she leaves them all to you unless she sold them at a car boot sale.
To all the posters saying do you like her etc what bunnys asking is what do I get her because my husband has no clue and even though its his mother i've to buy it ..
well thats what its like in my house.

Try to come up with something she would really like ... not necessarily something you would like her to have. For example, if she likes to read, find out what kind of books she likes, and get her either a new release that you're sure she doesn't already have, or a classic. If she likes music, same thing. Is she into gardening? Lots of ideas there! Your husband can help, because he should know her pretty well.
This could be a good chance for you to earn some "points" with her. Choose carefully.

I don't have a mom, because she died so i take my mother in law like my mom. At the moment she's far away so i sent her a really cute card, which i hope she likes. But if I'm there i would buy anything i would buy for me or my mom. Probably i would buy her some books, ornaments and stuff... I would spoil her! She's such a nice lady!

What kind of relationship do you have with her? Are you close? Do you just tolerate her?
If you just tolerate her, do something thoughtful but relatively generic - flowers or a gift certificate for her favorite store, restaurant, or beauty parlor.
If you're close - get something relating to a hobby or interest she has.
