But limited space and resources, what can I do to entertain myself well by myself?

Turn on some good music from the 80's and rock out! Dance and sing into the end of a broom. Time will fly by. And if that doesn't work, lay on your bed and let your head hang off the edge. Everything is super funny, we call it "upside down world." hahaha, it's great...try it!

depends on your capabilities. if you are not physically able to move around because of injury or disease, then your computer offers you a boatload of entertainment, from this site ,to board games ,arcade ,music, videos. etc. you can research your your interests, and go from there. you never know what you will discover. if your up and walking, go out and offer to help someone . maybe volunteer at an old folks home, or hospital. none of these things will cost you that much. Play runescape, buy some bbq wings from KFC, watch all the Monty Pythin episodes, call your senator, illegally donwload a new album, tear apart the DVD player an rebuild it, the possibilities are endless.

If you want to do something that will take time and patience, but use little in the way of resources, but that also has almost no justification, take up calligraphy.
*I* did, almost 25 years ago. I'm getting pretty good at it.
