This is a movie with a lot of little people in the movie. Its filmed like in the woods back in the day. There is a normal sized man that steals this little baby from the little man in the movie and than the evil man is trying to take him away and they are running up all these like mirrored stairs up and down trying to find a way out. If you need more details i will supply but I know someone has to know the name of the movie

Willow has little people in it... but what about Labyrinth? I've never seen it so I'm not sure if there are little people in it, but it's about a kidnapped kid and trying to get him back.

This movie sounds more like "Labyrinth" to me. Stars Jennifer Connolly and David Bowie.
The stairs all in different directions is a classic M.C. Escher drawing.
