The area you're visiting is called Summit County which includes Dillon, Keystone, Frisco and Breckenridge. It is absolutely beautiful mountain scenery, so I hope you like that! Here is a website with ideas of activities, although most are geared for people who like the outdoors: http://www.mountaingetaway.com/Guides/SummitCounty/recreation.html

I saw that there are amphitheatres in both Breckenridge and Keystone, so hopefully they will present something you like while you're there. The Hay Ride/Mine Tour looked interesting as well. There are factory outlet shopping malls in Silverthorne if you want to go shopping. The town of Breckenridge is the prettiest, still retains some of its look from back when it was a mining town. Lots of cute shops and restaurants.

There is an IMAX Theatre in Denver at the Museum of Nature and Science. Here is their website: http://www.dmns.org/main/en/General/Imax/CurrentFilms/

Hope you have a great trip!

There is the Silverthorne pavillion that periodically has shows. Breckenridge always has something going on at the River Walk Center. You could also drive over Hoosier Pass and visit the small town of Alma then onto Fairplay. Fairplay has a great little museum. The drive over Hoosier pass is spectacular. Alma is the highest town in the US. They say Leadville is but Leadville is the highest incorporated town. Alma has a higher elevation. Please do keep in mind that you will be travelling to extreme elevations. Drink plenty of water, do take it easy. Read about high altitude sickness and if you feel bad or are throwing up go to the medical center.
