I'm a real sucker for the sentimental, so there have been numerous films that have made me cry - not just the romantic ones. Franco Zeffarelli's Romeo & Juliet, Dead Poets Society, Titanic, The Green Mile, Steel Magnolias, Philidelphia, Schindler's List and a couple of the more obscure titles - Day of the Dolphin, The Boy Who Could Fly & Amazing Grace & Chuck. I could never pick just one!!!

Brokeback Mountain made me cry alot. As far as the best romantic film I think "Somewhere in Time" with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour, 1980

Lake house made me cry and cry and cry....I hadn't cried at a sappy movie for a long time!
Love chick-flicks it's next to impossible to pick a favorite....but if pressed, I would say Always with Holly Hunter, John Goodman and Richard Dreyfus. Definitely a classic.

The 40 Year Old Virgin
It is so sweet when he finally gets some. A real triumph of mind over matter.

Romantic films do not make me cry, but I did enjoy "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir"
(Not romantic? Go see it again.)
