#1: I'm asking this because sometimes i want to hear something very heavy that i don't have in my playlist and i look for it in last.fm, for example, but it's hard to find things that are heavy and that i don't know.
#2: Please don't answer Metallica or anything like that, because that's not heavy at all.
#3: I like something heavy but at the same time melodic if possible.

Children of Bodom you might like. Thats melodic death metal. So is the band Arch Enemy. And maybe check out Korn. You might like that as well. Hope that helps.

Death - they are the reason "DEATH METAL" became a popular term.... really hardcore.
Killswitch engage is new - but I really like them for their medlodic quality...
