i think it's a good idea but it's kinda sad cuz instead of flirting with the guy next to you he will be on his computer
also it would be kind of a pain to carry the laptop and the laundry and I would also worry that if i put it down to get the laundry some one would steal it -
look I'm a little distrustful cuz I also think that people are trying to steal my panties too
soo if you think people would like it then go for it - is the outlay going to bring you more customers is there another laundra mat that is your competition that you feel you need to upgrade? Are you near a university and you feel that people could writhe their turn paper at the same time?

I definitely would, but then again, it has been a few years since I've used a laundromat. Seems to me that most people who have a laptop and WiFi probably also have a washer and dryer, or at least access to one at their apartment complex. If that's not true in your area (large student population, for example) then you might be onto something. The good thing is, DSL is only like $12.95 a month, so you aren't risking much.

Yup. I have a laptop with wireless capability...and it is more fun than watching the clothes spin. I have only a few bulky items - like comforters - that I have to take to the laudromat because my home washer isn't big enough. But knowing I can access email while doing laundry would encourage me to drive a little farther down the road, than going to the nearest facility.

No. I generally only visit a laundromat due to its convenience and the quality of its machines. Most people are fully capable of reading books or magazines while in the laundromat. Plus, i find it doubful that those who can afford laptops will be without a washing machine

For sure since sitting and waiting for laundry is one of the most boring things in the world. When I was in school I used to bring my homework so wirefree would help soooo much.

If you do enable free wifi in your laundromat, make sure people know it.
A small announcement led by advertisements in the window and letting your regular customers know, may attract more business.

Yes, I am always so bored while waiting. I have already used a laundry mat with wireless and it was great.

sure, make it like a dollar to hook up to the net or something, so that you dont loose money on that. I bet a lot of college students would like tat. they could do laundry and finish that research for there term paper instead of running back and forth to your laundry mat and there dorm room.
