Work a math problem. Math and music use the same neural pathways. Forcing yourself to concentrate on a math problem seems to break up the iterative cycle of the song running through your head. Seems to work for my friends who hate math, love math, aren't any good at math, etc.

Do the worse thing possible, put said cd in cd player & press repeat.
1 way or the other U'll get over being hooked on that 1 song U'll realize U can do the same 4 albums!

i guess... Deerhoof. Haha.... and Andrew poultry. Like I start up whistling his parts each and each and every of the time. at the moment i have had that music that performs on the starting up of the action picture "yet i'm a Cheerleader!" stuck in my head. yet i don't understand a few thing about the music.

Sounds like you're not giving your brain enough to do. Get your focus on something that requires more of your brain. It can be anything, even talking to your friend on the phone. But, getting your brain totally focused on something is the best way to get out of a rut. <*)))><

Listen to another song as addictive, the problem is that you enter a loop.

I have to sing it completely through and then start singing another catchy song to push out the one I don't want.

It's impossible!!!! Except sometimes it helps me to play other songs really loudly through headphones.
