dont take creatine. it pumps your muscles full of water. this tones and keeps your muscles hydrated which makes workouts more productive. but when you stop taking it, you can and will lose all the muscle in as little as a week. also once you start creatine you will have to take more and more to get the results you want. if you want more running power, train(run) with ankle weights. they help build muscle and speed. they work because the weight produces an "artificial" tiredness very quickly. this is good because you only improve when you keep working after you reach the tired zone. so get some 5lb ankle weights and go run as much as you can. you will get results pretty quickly. and make sure you talk to your doctor before you take any sort of supplement
