1. Declared independence in May 1948
2. Because Britain, who had the mandate, was broke after WW2, didn't want to continue ruling over its inhabitants. By a vote at the United Nations
3. How far back do you want to go? The land changed hands many times over thousands of years. The Hebrews conquered the land from the Caananites and others and unified it around 800 BC when the land was made up of smaller city states. The Hebrews ruled Israel for about 700 years until the Greeks and later the Romans conquered the land. Around 640 AD the Arabs conquered the land and massacred huge numbers of its inhabitants. The Crusader then conquered it, also killing huge numbers and later the Ottaman Turks took it from them. The British defeated the Ottomans during WW1. The UN partition plan for 1948 shows how the population areas were split at that time. There was no independent state of Palestine in its history and no call for one until 1964.
4. Israel has grown in population to approx 6 million. In territory it has taken the Golan Heights from Syria (for military reasons - it's the high ground) and built settlements on some land on the West Bank that the Jews had before the 1948 war.
5. By Palestinian you probably mean Arabs. Note that before 1948, Palestinian referred to the Jewish population of Israel. The Arabs have little to complain - they have done nothing to solve the problems but spend their time complaining about it. Israel took in just as many Jews expelled from Arab lands after 1948 as there were Arabs refugees. It is purely a political point, at the refugees expense, that they have not been accepted by the other 22 Muslim Arab states in the same way and been left to suffer.
I don't think it is right to fight back either in the way they have.
6. Iran and Syria, who control Hamas and Hizbollah.
7. Western style democracy. Not religious and racist extremism.
8. Everyone can be a good person and be deserving of love, irrespective of how you describe them.
9. No but I want people to be super.
10. I'd say it was the so-called religious leaders, who preach hate instead of love, who are to blame. Some of them are politicians too.

1. Land of Israel, where the Jewish nation originated over 3,200 years ago and where Jewish kingdoms and self-governing states have existed up to the 2nd century.

2. Current Israel, 1948 by the UN.

3. 610 c.e. The first revelation in the cave at Mt. Hira. The Holy Prophet is commissioned as the Messenger of God.

4. Israel has seized the Golan Heights, Gaza Strip , East Jerusalem, the West Bank and a few other parcels of land throughout the years, some they gave back, some they still hold.

5. Depends on if you think it was theirs first. I'm not a math major, but it looks like the Jews were there first.

6. Escalation to WWIII, that would be at the hands of anyone who interferes with the current situation. Seems to me that an escalation would come from Arab nations that interfere (Iran/Syria).

7. I'm on my side. Israel has been fighting against hate from Arabs since 1948, but Jews were living peacefully with Arabs since 1939ish when they first started the exodus from Europe to their land. Israel wants to live in pease, Arabs don't want Israel there...

8. Why can't people just be people?

9. See #8.

10. Some countries and groups of people wish to wipe Israel and the Jews from the face of the earth. If Israel defends herself from total annihilation, how are they to blame. Come after me and my family and I'll fight to the death too...

What does NK have to do with any of this?

properly, it truly is actual that the peoples of whom the *unique* Palestinians (Philistines) were one tribe lived in Canaan earlier the Israelites arrived. In that experience it truly is easy to make the declare that Israel 'took' the land from them; for the reason that the theory of 'stealing' land meant little in an age even as conquest and genocide were broadly huge-spread technique of overseas coverage. Palestine ceased to exist as a united states of america about 500 BC, however the human beings remained, ultimately blending into the overall inhabitants. those were a number of the 'Gentiles' spoken of interior the Bible, who followed many religions and no longer had a unmarried nationwide or cultural identity. Israel survived until eventually 70 ad even as the 2d temple changed into demolished. the adaptation is that Israel maintained a cultural identity even after its human beings were scattered. even as the realm changed into conquered by using Muslim invaders, both community Jews and Arabs were forcibly switched over or fled (those who weren't butchered, it fairly is); after 50 generations or so, the excellence between those communities has been lost. the human beings who call themselves 'Palestinians' at present are a political fiction created by using the Arab League as an device for the destruction of Israel; no such nationwide identity existed on the time of the 1948 UN mandate. They positively comprise descendants of the 'unique' Philistines, besides as each and every crew which has lived or handed by ability of there for the previous 2500 years. Genetic study have shown that many 'Palestinians' are almost a twin of the descendants of Jews who fled the realm centuries in the past, which could make it at perfect a geographic label quite than a cultural one. In that experience both cutting-part communities are 'Palestinian' and also you'll't o.k. 'scouse borrow' from your self. even with the certainty that they could were once, they're actually one human beings divided by using heritage.

In 1939 many Jews were emigrating to Palestine. They were integrating quite happily with the arabs. In 1947 the UN agreed to partition of part of Palestine, and call it Israel. Israel expanded her borders, and in 1948 a war was started as a result of this. It would take a week to answer the question fully, but all I keep hearing is that Islam is a peace loving religion, oh yeah!

Israel was created and nortured by US and its European friends. Israel was created to get out of certain complications in which the superpowers were involved just after the second war. They are the friends of cat and friends of mouse too. Israel's population equals 3% of Arabs and their land that is surrounded by Arabs only. But till Arabs are on receiving end and Israel is going on pounding them. The disunity among Arabs and back stabbing is the main point that protects Israel. First Arabs have to regroup among them before lifting their fingers on Israel! Otherwise it is Israels day!

Well, if you see the present problem in the world and go in the history to trace back, surprisingly you will find British behind everywhere. From Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Srilanka, Hongkong) to Africa, from Middle east to North/South America.
I think it is better don't go too far in the history. Because behind creating Israel, also again it is the same British. Who is today the big puppet of America.
