why do they say certain signs can't go together?

like i read Taurus and Libra's shouldn't date and all this stuff.....well i'm engaged to a tauras...does that mess everything up?

They say that certain signs cant make it together based on what traits you generally get from your sign. Like a Sagittarius is very out going and out spoken and doesn't take crap from anyone, as where a Cancer is introverted and doesn't generally speak their emotions and likes to keep things to themselves. But I'm a Sagittarius and my polor opposite is a Gemini. My husband of three years is a Gemini and we get along perfectly. I dont think people really pertray there traits as much as they did when these ideas were founded because we have so much more influencing us now, TV, music, even school. All of these things they didn't have. I do have alot of traits from my sign and my husband has alot from his, but we like the same kind of music and we enjoy the same shows and the same foods, so when his Gemini starts showing I just remember how much we have in common. I think if you love him now and you have gotten far enough in your relatonship to think about marriage obviously your being the signs you are doesnt matter. Follow your heart not what you read.

I have a similaw situation. I am a Leo and I read that a Libra would be the worst match. Well, my bf and I have been dating for two years not and he is a Libra. My advice is not to focus on that kind of stuff. They are fun to read every once in a while, but do not take it seriously.

Any sign can be with any other sign! It all depends on your whole chart, based on your DATE, PLACE, EXACT TIME of birth, not just your Sun signs.

Your whole chart then is then compared to the other person's whole chart using a technique called Synastry.

The aspects between each other's planets and points must be looked at and interpreted. The planets in each others houses must be looked at and interpreted, both ways. Affinities must be looked for. It's not simple to a layperson, but it is to people who are educated in Astrology terminology.

Sun sign horoscopes are absolutely inaccurate to determine compatibility between two people.

If you allow a bunch of generalized statements (such as horoscopes) to govern your affairs, you are in deep trouble. And if so, yes it will "mess everything up". If you're serious about astrology, consult an astrologist. Do yourself a favor and stop believing everything you read.
