My answer is based on the fact that I am English, there maybe be other countries in Europe that have similar rules.
The majority of establishments have to cater for disabled people, don't hold me to this, but it's the 'norm' to have access to rooms & facilities etc. Good Luck & have a mice trip!

Anywhere. Just make sure it's not at the top of a hill before you book. The EU has laws that state that places like hotels must cater for disabled people's needs.

why not go somewhere to help you get your health and strength back, then you can go on a proper hol next year, your ONLY 50

Any hotel, anywhere, will be more than happy to accommodate you.
Just advise them when you make reservations.
