LOL...they do get pissed off. My turtles are notoriously brats. They walk all over me, especially Stewey, my water turtle. He absolutely will not eat carrots. Honestly, he will get pissed off at me when I even try to give him carrots or any veggies for that matter. I do make him 'turtle slaw', where I mix those detestable veggies in with his favorite fruits. I shred it all and mix it together in a sort of cole slaw (no mayo, of course) so that he can't separate them. I find that this works well for making him eat his least faves. She may have just found a new favorite...just mix a bit of it into her usual food as a treat.

Could be that you pet wasn't use to the new food. You may have to find out a food to give you pet to get her eating again and possibly clean her out. Look up you species on the net and add turtle care to it.

Yes a turtle can get upset and depressed. This happened with my tortoise, when I had her live in a little aquarium, until we built her a bigger home. I suggest giving her romaine lettuce, Mine loves it. And let her get around a lot so she doesnt become depressed. She could be a little mad, like depressed, but its okay. Just give her a variety of food and she should eat.
