I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse and you are not suffering with the menopause you have 'menstruation' problems.
You get tired because of the loss of blood and your vitamins and minerals are low and your hormones work overtime causing your skin problems. That is just an outline there is more to it than what i have just mentioned.i have a few herbal remedies but i don't prescribe anything until i have more information from a patient. so if you want some help e mail me but give your e mail address for a reply.

If your having a period then you are not in menopause. I don't know what spots your talking about, but your pale probably because your enemic(low iron). You should be eatting higher iron foods. Good idea to get checked out by your DR.

It is normal to look pale and get spots when your period is due. If you find yourself feeling tired then eat more iron (spinach is a good source).
I would suggest you go and see your doctor as he/she is the best person to diagnose your problem (if you have one)

When you get your period sometimes you can lose iron through the blood loss. You can get iron supplements in health food shops, although I would advise going to your doctor to rule out anything more serious, he can also do a test for iron deficiency.

First of all, you don't have "the menopause". That means your period has stopped.
See your doctor about what happens when you get your period. Your hormones change and it can affect your skin and your mood.

You can't "get the menopause". You go through menopause.
Have your hormone level checked.
